DESCRIPTION:In this 3 hour workshop\, we will learn how to make prints using the cyanotype process\, which produces rich blue prints with brilliant highlights. We will cover chemistry mixing\, print coating\, and printing\, and you will take your cyanotypes home with you at the end of the lesson. \nChemistry and paper provided. Students will need to bring their own print materials. Cyanotype is a contact process\, so print materials can range from physical objects to large format negatives. If you would like to use a digital image\, please send us the image at least 7 days before your class so that we can prepare a digital negative for you. \n$100.00 Per Person

Bring any film camera and roll of black and white film of your choosing. After shooting a roll of film together\, we will develop and scan the negatives. \nCameras are available for hire and film can be purchased for $10.00 per roll. \nThis class is for developing film only. Bring any film camera and roll of black and white film of your choosing. As a group we will have a small outing around St Peters/Newtown to shoot our film\, then return to Sydney Darkroom to learn how to develop one roll of black and white film into negatives from start to finish. \nAfter a short break\, we will take our finished negatives into the darkroom and learn to make a contact sheet and up to three enlargements from selected negatives. \nMax: 4 people per workshop.
